Student Spotlight: Anoushka Bose

Each year, three San Diego seniors who are actively involved in serving their community are selected to receive the Kyoto Scholarship. This scholarship awards up to ten thousand dollars to these seniors to help fund their college endeavors and is given to seniors who not only excel academically, but who are also involved in community outreach and benefitting society as a whole. The W.A.R. Lords are proud that this year, our own co-president, Anoushka Bose received this award. Anoushka is actively involved in STEM related community service events, including the W.A.R.Lords family science nights. She works in the W.A.R. Lords software, business, and community outreach teams and was a FIRST Dean’s List finalist last year. She applied in January for the Kyoto Scholarship and was selected as a finalist. She was interviewed by a panel of judges before finally being selected as one of only three scholarship recipients from San Diego. You can learn more about the Kyoto Prize Scholarships here.
